iPhone mic on my macbook pro

hi, my macbook's mic is broken and I need a new one. I saw on the internet some usb mics but they're very expensive and not portable at all, and I was wondering if I could use a USBFever mini mic for iPhone/iPod touch/etc, as my apple headphones with remote and mic work perfectly
