Two questions: When magsafe used with 20w type-C on iPhone mini 12, what is the power output? Does power output directly relate to charging speed? I'm thinking about getting magsafe for wireless charging but if it's not as fast as charging directly with the adapter I'll give it up at the moment and wait for next year

well I just found that max output is only 15w, is there any calculation or estimation on how fast it can be charged compared to full speed at 20w? 15 is 75% of 20. Does it mean it takes 25% longer than that of full speed at 20w?

I believe the mini charges at 12w while the other models charge at 15w. using direct cable is about 18w.
-my tests show that the magsafe will charge from dead to 35% in 30 min, dead to 60% in 1 hour and dead to 100% in 2 hours 5 min.
-Using direct cable it will be 0-50% in 30 min and 0-100% in 1 hour 35 min.
-this is all for the mini 12. The MagSafe charger will charge faster at first but slow down as you hit higher percentage.
At the end of the day cable versus MagSafe from 0-100 is a 30 minute charge difference.
