Hey there folks.
A friend of mine gave this iPhone 4 to me for sell (actually my kiddo is going to use it) Is an oldie i know but im trying to fix it.
When booting up the phone, i can´t access it. When swiping left there is suppose to be a numeric keyboard to enter pin (Right?). But the whole screen is just blank. Nothing..

This is obviously a Jailbroken phone since it has a power option feature on the screen. So it seems to be a software bug or something. I can not get it to DFU because the power button is not responsive, although it should be after i opened and inspected it, it clicks like it should do. Suppose i could try and replace the whole power ribbon cable and give it a go (i fix phones often for friends). You think i should try it for an old phone like this?

Connecting to iTunes, it just tells me to enter passcode to access it. Which i cant.

Video of the conundrum

I guess a trip to the Geniuses at Apple is a resort to try resetting the phone. I have the pin and all, just can not access it due to missing keyboard. I dont want them to restore to factory setting, just reset the software.
