There is a lot of iPhone MMS threads on here and I had a thought... Someone had mentioned that in order for the iPhone to do this it would be a firmware upgrade... It would almost def. have to be.

Correct me if I am wrong but before they give us the capability to send MMS they would first have to give us more camera options... like lowering the resolution. My dad has a Blackberry Curve (also a 2MP camera) and if he wants to send an MMS he has to change the resolution settings in the phone; otherwise he gets an error because the file is too big.

Am I wrong with this thought?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1C28 Safari/419.3)

The iphone currently resizes pictures before emailing them. So I believe a similar thing would occur if MMS were to be implemented.
