iPhone XS Max Iphone movie to projector connections?

Quick background and explanation: I'm a teacher and there are a few videos that would be very useful to show my classes but our school's tech is stuck in the early 2000's (we still use win7). I can only access the videos through my phone but I do have a projector unit and my windows desktop is connected to the projector.
I know there are hdmi to lightning connectors but my projector connection is still vga so to play sound I plug and audio cable in separately to my desktop. Is there any way at all I can somehow connect my Max to my projector given the limitations of my classroom connections?

Apple does actually make a lightning to vga adapter if you need to use vga but you would also need a lightning to 3.5mm adapter for audio

I would say a good bet would be a used Apple TV along with this: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Supp...ocphy=9033312&hvtargid=pla-350412942410&psc=1

That would allow you to airplay from your phone to the AppleTV so you would not need to fuss with wires.
