Is there a quick solution to finding all the movies imported from my iPhone in iPhoto? I tried performing a Spotlight search for "*.mov", but none of the movies in iPhoto were detected.

Thanks :D

Spotlight doesn't show you results from within iPhoto's library. A search within iPhoto, however, should work.

thanks, i'll give it a look tonight. this weekend when i was trying to find a movie, i couldn't find the search feature in iphoto, but i also admit to not looking too hard for it :p

so, i went into iPhoto and didn't realize you can create smart albums, just like smart playlist in iTunes :p so, i created a smart album with the condition "filename contains .mov". now i will always have my iphone movies separated for me!

A better way

It is even better to make a smart album with the three criteria as follows:
Photo
Is
Movie

This will find your .mov movies, but also any .avi or other videos from other sources besides your phone (assuming that's what you want).
