using iPhone 3GS, 32Gb
using Linksys WRT54G router
using wireless G
using WPA-PSK security
my home Internet connection is AT&T FastAccess 3.0 Mbps

If I go to speedtest.net from my wireless laptop, I get 2.8 Mbps down.
If I use the speedtest.net iPhone app over wifi, I get 0.6 Mbps down.

This is consistent. My wifi speed is slower than my 3G speed. Is there something wrong with my iPhone?

you do realize that just because your phone has wifi, it doesn't mean it will be on the speed as a laptop right? Wifi speed consists of other things like latency which will always be high on a phone. a wired connection > laptop wireless > 3G data card > cellphone.
