I've had this issue for weeks now and even Genius Bar didn't know what to do. When I try to sync music to my phone, whether through a wifi or cable connected sync, the wheel gets stuck with a tiny sliver of it unfinished and I get the error "The iPhone “iPhone XR” could not be synced because the sync session failed to finish." When I check my phone, not only is the music I'm trying to sync to my phone greyed out with the message "this song is not currently available in your country or region", but it sync with incorrect artwork that I already have (ex: I tried to sync a new rock album to my phone but on my phone, that album has the cover art of a folk album I've had on my computer for years).

What can I do to listen to my recently downloaded music on my phone again? I've tried restarting both my computer and phone with no such luck. Thank you!

Can you show screenshot of error ?

I also got this error "this song is not currently available in your country or region" on iphone, but as soon as i plugged out the cable from macbook pro, it was solved and i could play all songs on my iPhone 11PM
