A number of iPhone games have multiplayer, but it seems that for all if them, it is necessary tone connected to a wifi hotspot. For 99% of the time that's going to be a complete pain.
How come apple haven't written a local host and client code that app developers could easily implement? Perhaps it's coming. Maybe there's a reason it's not.
