iPhone 12 iPhone never sticks to 5G

Does anyone else have an issue with their iPhone sticking to 5G in a 5G zone? My phone drops down to LTE and then won’t switch back to 5G without restarting my phone.

Have you tried doing a network settings reset? After that maybe there is an issue on your carrier end.

Have you tried doing a network settings reset? After that maybe there is an issue on your carrier end.

Yeah I tried that. If I stick my SIM card in an S20 5G, it reliably sticks to 5G so doesn’t seem to be a carrier issue.

I have 5G turned to On but that setting doesn’t affect the 5G indicator as it’ll still say 5G if it’s available either way (even if it’s using LTE)

just be glad that's the only problem you're experiencing. Some iPhone 12 users get kicked off the cellular network completely- No Service
