I have Iphone 6S running latest version of IOS11. Previously, when I would email a photo within the photos app by using the share, choosing the photo(s) and then mail option, it would send the photos as attachments. Now for some reason it is embedding the image within the email body instead of sending as a separate attachment. I can't figure out what I did to make it do this or how to change it back. Any suggestions?

Update: Both my home desktop and iphone are configured with the same email account (secure server). In addition I have a hotmail account which is now an Outlook account. When I send picture from my iphone, both work outlook and hotmail outlook receive it as embedded image (only since the past couple of days) but my home desktop using Thunderbird receives it as attachment. When I send attachment from home PC, both work outlook and Hotmail Outlook now properly receive it as an attachment.

Did something happen recently between Microsoft and IOS so they are no longer playing nicely with each other? I verified that email sent from my Ipad (again using same secure server account) and IOS 11 also are being received as embedded images from work outlook and hotmail outlook.

If some kind reader has an iphone and a MS outlook account (we now use Office 360 version of outlook), can they send a picture from phone to outlook using the same process as I mention thru the photos app and see if outlook receives it as embedded image or as proper attachment.?
