Hello,

Just wondering if it's just my iPhone or if it's something new with the lastest update. Whenever I plugged in my iPhone to charge in the past it would make a noise to let me know it was charging, unless it was on silent, but a month ago or so it stopped doing it. Now it won't play any sounds when I plug in my phone so I have to double check that it's actually charging. Is this something new? Or something I can turn back on in my phones settings? (I have the iPhone 7 Plus) thanks.

I had a similar problem with my iphone 4s. While charging, no audio output. I'd hit the volume buttons, and get zero response. I'd unplug, and they would be fine.

I found by changing my usb charger from a 3rd party Belkin to the Apple charger that came with the phone solved the problem. I can still go to sleep listening to Sam Harris lectures while my phone charges.

So, check your charging chord, that's likely the problem.
