So I just went to turn on my wifi when I got home, and the menu had a grayed out text that said no wifi. I have never jail broken (although I used some program to change the carrier and time spot).

I am restarting now to see if that fixed the problem, but found this very odd.

Quick Update: Simply turning the phone off then on fixed it. Does anyone have an idea as to what causes this?

I'm assuming that it's a simple issue loading a driver.

I had this happen once and rebooted like you. Came back just fine.

Whether or not your router is on has nothing to do with whether or not the iPhone thinks that it has NO wi-fi interface.
