iPhone not recording whistling noise

Hi,

My car is making a whistling noise at 40 mph (I think it is a windshield seal leak) and they asked me to make a recording of it. However, my iPhone 16 Pro does not seem to record much of the sound. It records road noise and other lower frequencies, but not much of the whistling noise. Does anyone else have this issue?
