When I stop listening to podcasts and go back to listen to them at a later time, my iPhone does not always remember where I left off. Instead it starts the whole podcast over and I have to search to see where I left off. My phone is Jailbroken on iOS 4.2.1 but just started a few months ago with 4.1 jailbroken. I cannot think of anything I have installed, so there have been no changes on my phone since this started. Any suggestions or help?

Try this: in iTunes, under LIBRARY, select Podcasts (Books works the same), then pick your Podcast (or the whole folder), right click, Get Info, Options, Remember Position=Yes.
