iphone not showing up in iTunes

I have a windows 7 computer and my iTunes is not showing my iPhone 5C to be connected.

The correct driver has been installed for the apple device and you can search through the files on the phone through the computer but for whatever reason, I cannot plug my iPhone 5C in and it show up in iTunes for me.

Does anyone have any ideas?


Things I've tried:

-uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes (uninstalled with Revo uninstaller)
-restarting the iphone
-made sure the driver for the iphone is up-to-date
-iPhone software is up-to-date
-iTunes is the latest version
-I don't want to sync via iCloud, I want to plug my iPhone in for it to show up in iTunes.
