iPhone not syncing all my photos from iPhoto.how do i fix it?

This happened to me around six months ago too, but i can't remember how I fixed it.....If i choose an event to sync to my iPhone or iPad, it only transfers some of the photos of the event, not all of them. Anyone had this problem before and has anyone found a fix for it?
