hey guys,
thanks for the help!

I have an unlocked iphone but my macbook pro doesn't even recognize it. The phone and wi-fi work on the phone but i cant get it hooked up to itunes or my ical. The version of itunes I'm using is 7.4.2

can someone please help!!

put your phone into recovery mode by rebooting holding down the home and power keys until the triangle comes up then dock using the cradle and the original Apple white cable. If your iphone is then detected you know its one of your non standard accesories . That's where I would start anyway .
