iphone not turning on

i have an iphone 3gs and it is jailbroken i didn't like the cydia software so i tried restoring the phone after a few minutes restoring it said unable to restore iphone so i pressed ok and the iphone still had the restore screen up and i haven't been able to use my phone since
any answers??
