iphone not updating to 4.1!

ok so trying to update from 4.0.1 to 4.1 on my iphone 4 which is already jailbroken. go to itunes and click update, it downloads the update, then extracts it but then i get this

i looked at apples troubeshooting, did everything it said and it still doesnt work...
anyone know what is wrong??

This happened to me and I thought it was bc I had edited host files, maybe not?

Seen like your Host file. open Terminal (or cmd line if you are on Windows) and Ping gs.apple.com, if you get something like "74.208.10.249" those are Cydia servers and you need to edit your host file to point to Apple (cydia may not have your SHSHs for 4.1).

You should get something like 17.112.176.11 (that;s apple) if you get this, them it is related to something else.

Just remove the entry and save the file.
