iOS iphone not working on xcode

hi i am running ios 5.0 and i have the most recent version of xcode downloaded, with the 5.0 sdk, although I still can not test my apps on my device. any ideas?

Become a member of the iOS Developer Program

To have iOS 5 on his iPhone he should already be a member of the developer program as it isn't supposed to be publicly released for another eight days.

I know people who've had iOS installed on their iOS devices but otherwise had no access to the developer certificate - so I'm not making that assumption.

i am a member, just never updated xcode but had ios 5 on my devices for a while, my problem was inspector was not seeing my phone, but problem fixed.
