So i had a whole bunch of important stuff written on the "note" on my iphone including 8 song lyrics of mine. It was last month i had it on there.
I am in a foreign country FYI so today is August 1.
Since it is the next month all my notes are gone.
Is there any way i can get the notes from last month?

Go to Settings > Notes > Default Account. Anything else showing up there other than "On My iPhone"?

My notes are nowhere to be found on my google account anywhere...
I will try the video in the link
Thanks...!

Since iOS7, some of my notes occasionally vanish. Not all of them, but it is extremely unhelpful and I've set weekly reminders now to email notes to myself. At least that way if I Iose them, they're only going to be slightly out of date. These are notes that I regularly add to btw, so they are ever changing.

I've had my notes disappear as well. So much so, I avoid using this app. I can't trust that it will be there later :(

You might want to try an App like Day One.
It relies on iCloud and I never lost a note since.

Or use an iCloud account instead of Gmail. I've never lost a note. I have an iCloud account, something like <username>@icloud.com

Try this:
1) http://iCloud.com
2) Log in with your AppleID and password

You might be lucky in having your account setup as default and your notes will be available their.

What country are you in? I've used iCloud notes in: US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Greece, Italy, China, Spain, Turkey, Eqypt, ect with no problems.

I do not trust Notes at all and just use Evernote. If files get deleted, there's at least a trash can to sift through. With notes, once it's gone it's gone. Very annoying.

I have an Evernote account and I use it to save notes created at work during meetings. I don't use it for my every day notes though, I may try it for that.
Have never lost a note using the cloud and the original Note app on iOS. I've been doing it for several years now and have many many notes. I have to use the search feature in Notes to find anything but that is very convenient for me to do.

How are you guys losing notes of out nowhere? All of my notes are there, I still have my oldest note from 9/26/13

Goto settings > iCloud and see if notes are turned off or on.

My iCloud sometimes shuts off on my phone and I lose EVERYTHING contacts, calendar, notes etc. Thankfully just turning it back on seems to fix it (takes a little while to resync).
