iPhone & Notes Syncing problem

I make lists in Notes on both my iMac and my iPhone yet, despite syncing them on Mobile Me, I have two completely separate lists. What am I missing to make these two merge into one and keep a full set in both places. TIA

how much time are you leaving between comparing the lists? check how often you are scheduled to sync on your computer and on your phone, you might find the problem

I've synced the phone, I've synced mobile me and waited for several hours...Nothing has changed. Lists are totally different
