Still very undecided if to keep my Apple Watch at present because I'm not getting the use I expected :(

However when I have the watch on my arm and get an iMessage or text it dings but the iPhone makes no noise atall, is there any way to get the iPhone to make the noise that it does when a text comes through?

As I understand it, that is normal - if the iPhone is asleep (not in active use), and the watch is paired and in range, sounds/vibrations are suppressed, and instead passed to the watch.

There is no preference setting to alter this that I know of.
