Hi Kind People,

I have my iPhone 3G synced to my iTunes account on my iMac at home in South Africa. Problem is that I'm out of the country and I want to sync my iPhone to my Macbook but it seems that I'll lose all my apps if I do so.

I have logged into my iTunes account on my MacBook and authorised my iTunes account for two machines (the iMac & the MacBook), but it still seems that if I sync my iPhone to the MacBook, I'll lose the apps. Is there some way around this so that I can have the same apps on both my iMac and my MacBook so that I can sync the iPhone with whichever machine I feel?

If not and I have choose one or the other, then I'd rather have my iPhone synced only to my mobile MacBook on the road, not the iMac at home.

The other problem is that I'm getting an iPad 2 today and I want to unlock it and have all my apps from my iTunes account go onto the iPad 2. I suspect that if I unlock the iPad on my MacBook (which doesn't seem to be registering the apps I've already bought), it will not suck down all the apps for which I have already paid.

Am I understanding this correctly and if so, can someone please recommend a way around these problems?

Kind Regards,

Dan
