Is there a reason why apple hasn't done an iphone deal with tmobile? I'm not saysing, they should go away from at&t, I'm saying shouldn't they go to tmobile as well at at&t? Wouldn't that mean a ton more iphone sales for apple? Wouldn't that benefit them a lot? What's the issue?

they have an exclusivity contract with AT&T that does not end until 2010, and may get renewed before then. so they cannot go to another carrier until the contract ends.

How does having a contract with at&t prevent them from going to tmobile and saying, "hey, you wanna have a contract with us?" An at&t contract should have nothing to do with having a contract with someone else. It's just like RIM and the blackberry curve. All networks have it. Are they breaking their contract with at&t by talking to someone else? Or is it just a matter of "RULES AND REGULATIONS?"

Because it is an exclusivity contract.
