Recently jailbroke/unlocked my iPhone, everything went great.
My only issue is the weak signal strength, quick google searches reveal I'm not alone in this with T-Mobile. My SIM card is nearly 4 years old and I called T-Mobile to have them reset the signal or whatever, and it was at 3 bars initially but it drops to 2 a majority of the time and that's where I remain. When connected to the dock it seems to be fairly consistent (even when it isn't connected to the USB chord which supposedly acts as an antenna). I've also attached some tape to my SIM card to help it make contact, but the benefits are too small to notice honestly, as I'm still at the lowest possible signal.
Has anyone had experience with this issue or seen a similar thread? I've gotten in touch with a local iPhone unlocker/jailbreaker who said he can take a look at it and charge me only if he is able to fix it. I'm also thinking about going to the T-Mobile store and having them look and/or create a new SIM card for me.
Thanks in advance for any help and/or tips, really appreciate it
