iPhone on Verizon in Upstate NY

Do you love it?

Anyone switch from AT&T to Verizon in Upstate NY - feedback?

Looking for anyone with this scenerio - iPhone4 released on Verizon and you had just recently purchased a different phone. Did Verizon let you trade it in for the iPhone?

How far upstate are you talking? Around Orange/Dutchess County?

My girlfriend and sister have the iPhone 4 on Verizon here in Upstate, NY (Orange County) and LOVE it. My whole family has Verizon and by far, Verizon is the only service worth paying for up here. I've had Boost, Nextel, Sprint...bleh. Verizon is the only service that has kick as coverage here. AT&T is "Ok" but cannot touch Verizon's coverage.

Verizon is terrible in much of Westchester. ATT is excellent. What part of NY?

To those in NYC, Westchester County is "upstate."
To those in Westchester County, Putnam/ Dutchess is.
To those in Putnam/ Dutchess, Albany is.
The same trend continues all the way up to Plattsburgh.

Point being, different people consider different areas of NY to be "upstate" depending on where they are.

Sorry...more specifically, I'm in the capital region - Albany. We camp up in the Adirondacks a lot (Lake George area). Verizon has a tower up that way and AT&T does not.
