Which phone would you get and why? I'm currently deciding whether to buy T-Mobile's G1 or the iPhone (2G, 8GB). Both will cost me about $180-$185, so price is not the deciding factor. My LG touchscreen phone just broke a few days ago and I need advice. Thanks!

Iphone not even a question. (as if youd get different advice here!? haha) but im not just saying it cause I have an Iphone. My girlfriend has a G1 and I Had the 2g iphone for 2 years til I got my 3GS. the iphone really blows it out of the water in every way.

I have a G1 and I can't say I have any reason to want an iphone. There's really nothing that I can't do. I'm sure I'd be saying something different if I was able to try an iphone for a month or so, but as it stands, my G1 is more than everything I need in a phone.

I had a G1. I sat on it as Six Flags, so I had to find a replacement. I got an iPhone, and haven't looked back. Almost everything about the iPhone I like better. The only exception would be the notifications. The android notifications are great.

I have a G1 as a development phone - it's a plastic piece of crap. Feels pretty cheap and it's slow. iPhone blows it away imo.

what about nexus one? i heard thats its a good phone

if not...then iphone only...

the nexus one is nice and probably the only other phone I would even consider. But the support of the app store and the apple ipod stigma of seamless compatibility with everything still makes the iphone the better choice.
