I have seen a few posts not just on here for an issue that we are experiencing intermittantly. From an iPhone or iPad when sending emails via Microsoft Exchange Account the emails sometimes go into the Drafts Folder instead of the Outbox or Sent Items. The emails although look like sent dont actually go.

On returning to the office and accessing Outlook eMails appear in the Outlook Drafts Folder.

Not sure if its loss of signal causing the issue, but if it were a loss of signal I would expect the emails to go into the Outbox and then sent when the signal is established.

Anyone out there got any suggestions or ideally the answer :)

cached exchange mode

I've seen this on several activesync devices for users that have the Microsoft CRM Outlook client installed. Enabling cached mode for Exchange resolves it, but so does removing the CRM Outlook client. Not sure why but it works.

Has anyone else seen this? I have one user that is on Exchange 2010 and is using an iPhone and iPad and was experiencing this issue. We were able to resolve it by exporting his mailbox, deleting it and recreating. It was working for about a week and now the problem has reoccurred. Anyone know if there is a permanent fix for this? We haven't gotten anywhere with Microsoft.

Note: When this problem is occurring, the same issue happens in Outlook Web Access. Sending a message from OWA also sends the item into the DRAFTS folder and the mail is never sent.
