Hey guys i need some help here. I currently have a new imac 27 inch quad core i love it. I have an Apple TV and a fourth gen ipod touch. I don't have any mobiles devices besides my phone which is bugging out and my ipod so should i get an iphone or an ipad? i don't do that much mobile browsing just something for on the road. I think i should go with iphone. what do you guys think?

i agree with the iphone 4. The iPad would be great to watch movies on while on the road. Great for entertainment on the road. But it is HUGE to carry around with you.

On the other hand the iPhone 4 is small, lightweight, does all the same things an iPad can do but on a smaller screen.

I dunno.. that's a tough decision.

^^^ agree iPhone 4 just for the ability of having the phone feature

I'm not sure how you can compare the devices; one's a phone that requires a 2 year contract and usage fees and the other is a tablet that has no real residual costs.

Huh? How are you comparing a phone with a tablet??? You either need a phone with a contract or you don't.

I solved the probem and bought them both. :)

Since you note that your current phone is bugging out, I would definitely go with the iPhone 4. Although the iPad is a great device, it seems as though you would benefit more with the iPhone.

Go for a phone but maybe something other than an iPhone 4 since your iPod touch already has most of the same features and apps.

Both are great devices, you can't compare them. Ipon or Iphone this decision depends totally on individual requirements and likes.
