is there anyway i can get a copy of beta 5 to put on my iphone.. im not a developer but i would really like to put it on my phone.. and test it out.. ill do whatever it takes as long as it works... and also can i downgrade if i experience problems??

A registered developer needs to register your phone with their account and has to send you the beta updates. If they don't, then your update will expire and your phone will be useless, unless you downgrade back to 2.2.1. I would just wait a few weeks for the final public version.
