iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 1 Jailbroken (redsn0w 0.9.5)

redsn0w 0.9.5 has just been released, which current only jailbreaks the iPhone 3G and is compatible with Mac OS X only. Go here for more details: http://bit.ly/adfB7e

I've been able to add:

• gas-gauge-battery (adds native battery percentage)
• launch-application-while-animating (begins loading an app while the animation is occurring. apps load considerably faster. this is only found on the 3GS and iPT 3G)
• homescreen-wallpaper (obvious)
• multitasking (obvious)

All of the above work great!

Enabling launch-application-while-animating definitely makes apps load faster. Multitasking works great as well. I just don't know how to keep it from automatically backgrounding every since application I open. Any ideas on this?

UPDATE1: Cellular data is broken after jailbroking on both EDGE and 3G. Wifi works fine.

UPDATE2: MMS is also broken.

I'd guess most cydia and JB app developers to have their apps ready to deliver and compatible with 4.0 when its released to the public.

Yes, like the Dev team stated this is not for the public but mostly usefull for Devs.
I agree JB a buggy beta with stuff that wont work properly on both official or jailbroken packages woud be a waste for the general public.

SBSettings doesn't work. SpringBoard results in a safe mode.

Everything works great with this jailbreak, except the data not working.

Have you been able to get cellular data working? I'm on beta 2 now (not jailbroken) and it's still not working for me.

Will try setting up as a new phone later tonight...
