Does anyone know with the latest beta of iPhone O.S. 4.0, does it support AVRCP yet? I'd like to be able to skip or replay a track on my bluetooth stereo headset I use with my iPhone.
Anyone know?

iPhone has had limited AVRCP support for a while now, it is only skip and repeat that are missing. Someone confirmed in another thread that beta 4 did not have skip/repeat. It's frustrating as all hell, I know. If you are willing to jailbreak, though, there is an app that enables it.

Which cydia app enables AVCRP?

Music controls works, but paying for AVRCP isn't really justifiable to me.

And no, still not there in 4.0 sorry. I left Apple feedback asking for it a few times I siggest everyone else do the same.

AVRCP track controls for iPhone

Jaybird has recently released a new application for iPhone that enables music track controls for iPhone. It's called JayBird BluTrax!, it's not a jail break app so it's above board, and it's available on the app store. There is a Youtube demo you can check out b4 getting it too.

Why not pay?

Somebody took the time to write Music Controls, isn't their time worth a little money?
