iPhone os4 search SMS not working correctly?

When I first got my phone, if searching SMS for a common word or phrase that I know I had used multiple times, it'd bring it up in the search with "15 results" "5 results" etc.

However now when I am searching for very simple phrases or words, or even long ones that I KNOW I've used, it's only showing VERY RECENT results. It doesn't seem to be searching far back anymore?

Is there a way to fix this? What's causing it?

It happens the same thing to me: it does not work correctly! But it does not have to do with time...!

It does not work because I've just searched for a Keyword I know it is in multiple recipients and... "no results". I've checked the SMS that I know that have that keyword, and there they are... And the SMS is very recent (1 month).

But when I searched for another keyword, it showed me results from LAST YEAR! I wonder what's keeping it from searching some SMS ...
