Hi

Currently have an iPhone X, recently replaced by Apple under AppleCare+ express replacement (AC now expired) and over the last few weeks I have noticed the phone getting so hot the display dims and it’s uncomfortable to handle.

I’ve noticed it only happens in warm environments (so normal) and when on 4G.

Is it possible that a poor/slow 4G signal could be the culprit?

Any help appreciated!

Normal behavior. When iPhone is used on a warm day it can't cool down. On hot days I slip a sock over a small frozen blue ice block and strap my iPhone to it with rubber bands. Am using it that way right now actually.
It was running at 105.7°F before I strapped on its ice pack. Now it's 75°F with it. Room temperature is 98°F.

I understand about warm days but I notice it when it’s being used in mild temperatures.
