Yesterday , i noticed while holding my girlfriend (LOL) that her phone is overheating . The Phone is white and have a black thing in the bottom so i think its an iPhone 2G , she got iOS 3.1.2 .. i told her : time to get a new iPhone :p but she doesent have enough money and she will get 1 Late 2011

Is there anyway to fix it for her ? i got the phone with me right now.

Things i tried :

Disabling Push notifications.

Disablding Push in mail and contacts.

Restored it .

Any help ? please xD? thx

I had the same issue during a road trip. Get the phone away from heat: sun, heater, etc. You have to cool it down. I took my phone out of the cup holder where it was subjected to 100+ sun and put it in the 78 degree center console. After about 10-15 minutes, it worked again. However, I prudently left it in the console and threaded the audio connection wires into there.
