iphone password

hey guys my borther has like 3 iphone 3g he has broken the screen over and over again.. i fix one of them . but now he can't figure out the password.. i tried to restore it.. but i can't the HOME button doesn't work and the touch eighter i tried the screen on my iphone and it works perfectly.. what else can i do..? is the something i can change inside the iphone? please help

Nothing besides trying to guess the passcode or try to restore it somehow.

with your information, he and you should be able to memorize these 3 passwords. Iphone allows you to try up to 10 times. So, within 3 times you should have it correct and open up the phone.
