Quite ingenious. basically, if the iphone is stolen, and it detects it's being used in ways the original owner didn't use it, it will ask some security question. If not answered correctly, it will prevent the iphone from charging!

I like it, but I could see how it might cause some non-tech savy people some problems.

Sounds like frikin' rad tech. Cool article find:)

But it doesn't get you your phone back and it doesn't mean the thief won't sell it off to someone. And I'm sure there has to be a (convenient) way to reset all settings.

Also, what if you do a lot of traveling outside of your geographic boundaries? That'd suck if you forgot the code.

That's great, but the thief could probably just sell it to some sucker who doesn't know about this technology and be gone before they know what happened.
