hey guys i have an iphone 4. it has a MY NUMBER setting, and if i press it i can change it to whatever. if i change these numbers does that acutally change my real phone number??? and would it cost money?? thanks

All it changes is what the iPhone says it number is. So iTunes will show your number as something else and any app that asks your iPhone for its number, will get the number you give it. Changing it does not change your number and it does not cost money.

so basicly if say my real number is 555-9999, and i change it to 555-1111, if a buddy calls 555-1111 it wouldnt go to me right

and the only thing it would change would be that it would show 555-1111 in other peoples caller id's and for the itunes ??

Caller ID will still show your real number. Only in iTunes would it change.

If that is possible then you must be getting tons of wrong calls daily :D
