I have several albums of photo's on my current iPhone which are linked to the Finder/iTunes on an old laptop which I no longer have access to. (Ex took it and now apparently no longer has it!) The albums contain lots of sentimental photo's and I don't want to lose access to them but I can't back them, or therefore any of my photos, up to my iCloud because they aren't physically on my phone... does anyone know a way around this please? If I make duplicates of them all into my recents album will this create physical copies of them or just 'virtual' ones? Getting desperate! Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

So your iPhone does not have any photos and videos at all?

What does Settings --> General --> About say regarding number of photos and videos?

Post a screenshot of the About section of the iPhone you currently use that you have used with the old laptop.
