Iphone Photos facing upside down!

I am frustrated with the constant organization of photos taken from my Iphone. Most of the them downloaded to the computer are upside down. Then I spend the time to turn them up the right way. However, when I upload them onto Google Plus, IPhoto or facebook they are back to upside down again. There is something going on with the photo preview and then the full photo view. If anyone can shed some light on this issue and offer me an easier path to having photos be the same direction. Thanks
