Hello,
I'm new here, and I'm considering a keyboard of some sort for my iPhone. I'd like to avoid any discussion on whether an add-on keyboard is necessary. There are plenty of other threads on that topic, and I ask that discussion on the topic of the necessity of a keyboard be moved to a more appropriate thread. I have owned smartphones since the early Kyocera palms and Windows CE phones, etc., and basically, I need a physical keyboard as a business user who needs to write a lot on the go, take notes at meetings and type out longer messages on the go. Lets just accept that and move on. I could get a netbook or tablet + full size keyboard, but I like being able to keep my carry-ons at a minimum while traveling.
From my research so far, as far as physical keyboard cases go, the Boxwave seems to be the best option. Any thoughts on that?
I'm also considering full size travel keyboards, and there seem to be a few options here on the folding travel keyboard:
I'm also considering mid-size portable keyboards that are still pocketable like the Rii bluetooth keyboard (I already have a non-bluetooth version for my HTPC) and the Brando mini bluetooth keyboard, which looks like the disjointed bottom half of a classic Blackberry.
Then there are other full size non-folding keyboards, which I could carry around in a leather binder or something, but I'm starting to approach netbook or iPad + keyboard case territory there.
If anyone else has been down this path (and is not trying to talk me out of a keyboard altogether) I would love some opinions.

- First we have the Brando Bluetooth Foldable Keyboard II, which looks interesting.
- Second choice would be to wait for the Jorno.
- I've also read good things about the defunct iGo Stowaway which now sells at a premium used - quite amazed that iGO hasn't joined the throngs of companies trying to cash in on iAccessories.
- The "Matias" folding keyboard has more negative reviews, and I've read mixed things about the Freedom bluetooth folding keyboard.
