iphone pics don't email in chronological order?

how come when i email a bunch of photos in one email, they do not appear in the order i took them? i go into the camera roll, check them off one by one earliest to latest, but in the email they are not in that order?
 
is this the same type of glitch people have been having when syncing photos, how they appear in a random order?
