iPhone pin recovery

Is there a way to recover a pin i forgot on my iPhone 4s
I just got it yesterday and one of my friends put a passcode on it to 'troll'
And he claims he 'forgot'
Yeah sure...
So can i try to troll the troller and get back my pin? or do i have to reinstall or get stuff off my iphone like using iexplorer or ifunbox. I personally don't want to go all the way to jailbreaking cos im a noob

that 'troller' decided to do something with find my iphone on my iphone
So could i access the settings through the lock screen?

How long does it take for people to reply?
I really need it as some of my microsoft office work is in that thing and i dont have a cloud.....................................................

Don't think there is an easy way to "recover" your PIN.

As for your comment about Find My iPhone, you're going to need to be more specific.

Sounds like you should probably have a password of your own on your phone if you're going to hang out with "friends" like that.

Put your own PIN on it and don't let your "friend" play with it again - sounds like he might have been up to something.

It sounds like he is more trouble than he's worth. I think you should end your friendship with him and if you find out that he's messing with your property again call the police.

Or this could be just another one of those posts that try to get a stolen phone working.
