I had iphone 6 and it never used to happen but I just got replacement phone and now when I hang up a call the music starts playing out loud. yet I haven't been listening to Pandora for a like an hour. so not sure. and headphones are not in so it blares out loud at work. anyone know why this is happening now and is it the phone?

This used to be a software bug when the very first iPhone came out. I remember it being very embarrassing when out and about. Luckily the speaker wasn't very loud back then.

I have the same issue on my iPhone 6, except the music comes from ITunes and not Pandora! It does not happen all the time just most of the time!

It has to be a hardware thing I guess. My other iPhone 6 never had this issue and I had it since September. If I google it there are tons of issues like this yet no solutions.
