iPhone Podcast Menu Errors

I use my iPhone 4S in my 2013 BMW M3. I connect the phone via the connectdrive and you can scroll music etc of the iPhone. The problem is the Podcast Menu is inaccurate. It include Podcasts that have long been deleted and newer Podcast don't appear. The software is all up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
