So...for about two days, my iPhone has been unable to turn on. The thing is whenever I try to turn it on, it would not turn on. Not even trying to go into DFU mode would turn it on. However, when I plug it into the wall socket, it automatically turns on. Even then, the phone would have a message on startup saying that I have to restore the phone in order to make phone calls or receive phone calls. I can't even play music, go on the internet, or make text messages on the thing. So I try to do a restore, but since the phone does not turn on unless plugged into the wall socket, iTunes does not recognize my phone. But! When I try to turn DFU mode on while it's connected to the computer, the iTunes recognize it going into recovery mode. I then try for a restore, but then the error 1601 comes up. I followed Apple's suggestion on doing an iTunes reinstall and trying to restore on different computers. None of the suggestions worked. Now, I'm asking you guys if there's any solution to my problem because I'm getting desperate as I've been out of a phone for 2 days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: The phone is a jailbroken 3GS, and I remember dropping it on carpet couple hours before noticing it's not turning on.
