Hi guys,

I'm sitting at home in the office and have been trying to check something out online on my iPhone. I noticed that the phone was using the mobile signal rather than wi-fi so I popped into settings to see if I had disabled wi-fi. I had not. I went back to browsing, but the phone was still using Edge. I then went back into the wi-fi and checked that the phone was able to connect to my home network. Everything seemed a-ok with 3 bars of wifi signal.

This was working fine the other day, so how come now, when trying to surf from my office, why does my iPhone 4 insist on using the much slower mobile signal when a wi-fi connection is present and ready?

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I had this issue but only when I added a 2.4ghz n wifi for my iPhone. Once I disabled that it always holds wifi.
