iPhone preorder didn't ask for name?

I got my own iPhone 4 ordered and confirmed yesterday after hours of trying. I then went and tried to order my brother his. It got to the ATT verification where it failed and offered to have me pick up instead. It listed my local Apple store which I selected and then it told me the phone was reserved. Only problem is it never asked for a name, apple ID, address, or anything. Is there any chance Apple is doing by the cell phone number? I stopped in the store today and they said they had no reservation listed for him. I think he might be screwed...

Yea, that reserve did not go through. Its suppose to ask you for your apple id after you select pick up in store. But since the server was busy it did not, so there was never a reservation made.

Keep trying to reserve if you want, but the one you mentioned did not go through. Which is why apple store didn't know about it.
